Revealing Your Child's True Potential

Since obtaining my credentials as a licensed school psychologist over 20 years ago, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to my practice. After spending the first decade focused on raising my family, I have been actively practicing for the past 10 years. During the early years, I also took on occasional roles as a substitute school psychologist, as well as administering cognitive screeners for local school districts.  

 

Since 2014, I have specialized in conducting cognitive assessments for children, focusing primarily on identifying giftedness for admission into specialized programs such as Stargate K-12 and Hulstrom K-8. Additionally, I conduct assessments for parents who are curious about their child’s intellectual abilities. I utilize the most up-to-date and widely recognized assessments, including the Wechsler series: the WISC-V for children aged 6 to 16 years and 11 months, and the WPPSI-IV for children aged 2 years and 6 months to 7 years and 7 months. These instruments will not only provide an overall IQ score for your child, but will also help determine patterns of strengths and weaknesses in your child’s  problem-solving abilities.

 

One of my greatest strengths is my ability to build rapport with children, making them feel comfortable and at ease during assessments. This skill ensures that each child can perform to the best of their abilities, allowing for accurate and insightful evaluations. My commitment to fostering the intellectual and emotional growth of children has been the cornerstone of my career, ensuring that each child receives the support and opportunities they need to thrive. I continue to be employed full time in the public school system, therefore provide assessment services outside of regular work hours.
